What we check
Company identity, status and filed financials, with the relevant financial year and filing date; registered charges and available rating history; insolvency and order history within our captured archive, as of the check date. An archive check describes what our records contain. It is not a universal clearance of all litigation or liabilities.
What stays in your voice
Your explanation of the distress, revival plan, funding requirement and projections, marked “as stated by the company — not verified by merc.in”.
Information publication
merc.in publishes verified information — a noticeboard, not a broker, investment adviser, merchant banker or intermediary. Investors conduct their own diligence.
The fee covers work
The flat fee pays for verification and publication work only — never for introductions, never a success fee linked to capital raised. The quote is provided at acceptance.
Sources remain visible
Verified figures are reproduced from official filings with source and date; self-reported sections are the company's own statements, labelled as such. Publication does not promise capital or investor interest.
If verification does not clear
If verification fails — including any live CIRP or NCLT history contradicting the entry — nothing publishes, and the fee, once work begins, is non-refundable.
